4th of july love

I love the 4th of July.

Like really love it. Everything about it.

I love the fireworks, grilling food, enjoying the good

company of friends and family. I love being able

to celebrate being an american and all of the

freedoms we have living in this country.

So, in favor of this love for the 4th of July,

I wanted to make something that I could put in the

apartment so Mr. M and I could enjoy a little 4th of July

spirit for the next few weeks.

I found this frame at a garage sale about a month ago and

have been waiting for something to put into it. 

This is what it looked like before:

I sanded it and then painted it red, and this is the finishing project!

So I put my designing gifts and talents

 to work and made this lovely little sign that is sitting in our front room. 

I love it! I think it turned out really great! It is sitting next to this

cute little hat that I also got at that garage sale as well!
